Episode 9: Stacy Patrice and Rebuild Foundation
Tuesday Dec 22, 2020
Tuesday Dec 22, 2020
Today’s episode is with a local brilliant mind: Stacy Patrice. I first encountered her work with the Rebuild Foundation during one of her Sunday Satsangs. As I sat in reflection, her words addressed the distance between who I was, how I saw myself and who I wanted to believe I could be.
The Rebuild Foundation focuses on the intersection of art and community. The interplay facilitated by founder and executive director Theaster Gates Jr. provides a backdrop that challenges conventional rhythms of community and connects people through activation, cultivation, and validation of Art in Chicago.
